On Saturday, December 23rd, 2023, a radiant soul, Nyla Ann Nguyen, aged 7 months, was called to join the heavenly embrace of Jesus. Born on May 16th, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas Nyla brought immeasurable joy and love to her parents, Anderson and Rebecca Nguyen, completing their family with boundless happiness. Although Nyla's time on Earth was brief, the impact she made was profound, touching the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind her adoring older brother, Niam Nguyen, who, along with her parents, will forever cherish the memories of her sweet presence. Nyla is survived by her grandparents, Ha Nguyen of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Norman and Donna Coverdale of Orrville, Ohio, who held her close in their hearts. She will be deeply missed by her aunts and uncles, Ann Poirier and Vincent of Little Rock, Arkansas, Quynh Nguyen of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Huyen Nguyen and Tony of Rock Island, Oklahoma, Gretel Coverdale and Brad of Bowie, Maryland, and Dai Nguyen of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Nyla was also a blessing to ten cousins, Penelope, Elliott, Abygail, Brandon, Crystal, Tiffany, Amber, Christopher, Evan, and Simon, each of whom will carry her memory forward with love. Preceding her in death was her grandfather, Nghiem Nguyen, who surely welcomed her into the heavenly realms with open arms. Visitation will be held at the River Glenn Chapel on January 1st, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., located at 1805 North Street. The funeral service, officiated by Dr. Kyle Jarnagin, will take place on January 2nd, 2024, 10:00 a.m., at the River Glenn Chapel. Following the service, interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5720 Wilson Road, Fort Smith, Arkansas. During this time of profound loss, may we find solace in the memory of Nyla's brief yet impactful journey on Earth, knowing that she is now at peace in the arms of angels. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
