Lillie Sue Glover, 80 from Van Buren peacefully entered into rest on Thursday, March 14th, 2024 in her home. Lillie was born on September 7th, 1943 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Lillie was a shy but sweet soul, she was known as “Mamaw”.  She was a full blooded citizen of Cherokee Nation and proud of her heritage. She went to school at Oaks Mission School and grew up in Chewey, Oklahoma on the reservation. Lillie was a huge Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan. Anytime there was a game on you can bet she would be right in front of that TV to watch it. Lillie had many hobbies that included being apart of a bowling team, going to play bingo, shopping and spending a lot of time with her friends and family. She had seven grand children, twelve  great grandchildren and numerous amount of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her greatly. She survived by her two sons , Donald Jez Glover of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Bruce Wayne Parchcorn and his wife Janice of Fort Smith, Arkansas.  Lillie was preceded in death by her son Elric James Glover and husband Hosea "Jez" Glover, her parents Bertha Mouse and Bear Parchcorn, three sisters Virginia "Parchie" Parchcorn, Erma Roach and Evelyn "Lucy'" Sullivan of Oklahoma and four brothers Raymond, Ross, Jackson and Woody Vann all of Claremore, Oklahoma. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." - PSALMS 147:3.  A visitation will be on Wednesday, March 20, 2024,  5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the River Glenn Chapel, 1805 North A Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas.  Graveside service officiated by Brother Sid Ree will be Thursday, March 21st, 2024 at  Gill Cemetery, 4620 Kibler Road, Van Buren, Arkansas.  Services under the thoughtful care of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
