Janie McKinney Obituary

Janie McKinney, 68, of Fort Smith, passed away on Friday, January 5th, 2024. She was born at Cape Girardeau, Missouri on May 19th, 1955 to Virgil and Lema Pulliam.  Janie was a loving mother, grandmother, and a true saving grace to many.  Her commitment to keeping others safe through her Boozer Cruiser business is truly commendable. Her clients affectingly referred to her as "Mama Cruiser".  Janie's love for her family, her role as a mother and grandmother, and her passion for ensuring the well-being of others will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on those who knew her.   Some of her favorite pastimes were listening to the Eagles and watching True Crime stories. Janie leaves behind her cherished children, Shannon Pulliam and Selena, of Hackett, Arkansas, Crystal Patton and Brandon Washburn of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Kim Stidham and Chris of Sanger, California.  Her beloved grandchildren Logan Pulliam, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gage Pulliam of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Raeleigh Pulliam of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dakota McKinster of Hackett, Arkansas, Haley McKinster of Poteau, Oklahoma, Landon Layne of Greenwood, Arkansas, Daxton Haskell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jessica Fine, Merced, California, Andrea Serrano of Clovis, California.  Janie was truly blessed by being a great grandmother to nine precious great grandbabies.  She has one sister Helen Robinson of Muldrow, Oklahoma as well as a host of family and friends.  Those preceding her in death were her parents Virgil and Lema Pulliam, brother Virgil Pulliam, Don Pulliam and Ronnie Cunningham, a great grandson Rowan Haze McKinster, and grandson Ahlijah Stidham.  It's clear that Janie's life was filled with love and care for her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion. The memorial service on January 10, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at the River Glenn Chapel, Fort Smith, Arkansas, will likely be a moment to remember and celebrate Janie's life.
