Dennis Paulsell Goff, aged 89, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his residence. Born on September 29, 1934, in Stephens County, Oklahoma, Dennis was the beloved son of Olin and Molly Goff. He led a rich and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and achievement. From his commitment to education and professional excellence to his passion for farming, singing, and literature, Dennis's diverse interests and talents undoubtedly enriched the lives of those around him. Dennis found his lifelong companion in Cecilia "Cissy" Rapp,  whom he married on April 17th, 1974, in Anaheim, California. Together, they embarked on a beautiful journey spanning 49 years. Dennis was renowned for his unwavering determination, earning his Master Electrician degree in his late 40s. He proudly held memberships in the honor societies Delta Gamma Epsilon and Alpha Zeta National Honor Fraternity. Alongside his professional pursuits, Dennis was a dedicated farmer and rancher. His melodious voice graced the choir, enchanting many with his singing talents. An avid reader, Dennis found solace in the pages of Murder and Mayhem, and spy novels. His gentle spirit found joy in the company of infants.   His devotion to his family shines brightly in the tribute, and it's evident that he was deeply loved and respected by all who knew him. While his physical presence may be gone, the memories and impact he made will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones. Dennis is survived by his devoted wife, Cecilia "Cissy" Goff, and cherished children: Steve Jessup and Toy of Walker, Louisiana; Nancy Cocchiola and Jim of Viroqua, Michigan; Mike Goff and Tippi of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Bill Cavin and Renee of Austin, Texas; and Kip Cavin and Rachel of Bixby, Oklahoma. He was also blessed with twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Dennis is remembered fondly by his siblings: William Goff and Emilee of Fort Worth, Texas; David Goff of Bronx, New York; and Sue Broach and Dana of Norman, Oklahoma. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.  Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Olin and Molly Goff, and his son, Dennis Jessup.  A Memorial Service will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together to celebrate Dennis's life.   Details regarding the  memorial service will be announced via the website at and River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services on Facebook.
