It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Sharp at the age of 72, who peacefully departed on Friday, March 8, 2024, at her residence in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born on October 27, 1951, in Flagstaff, Arizona, Carol was the cherished daughter of Cleo and Helen "Burris" Clark. Throughout her lifetime, Carol exemplified dedication and love, particularly towards her family, with a special affection for her grandchildren. Renowned for her strong work ethic, she dedicated her time to both postal services and real estate endeavors. Carol's intellect shone brightly as she was an avid reader and excelled in her academic pursuits. Her culinary skills were admired by all, often turning ordinary ingredients into extraordinary dishes that left everyone in awe. Above all, Carol's compassionate nature defined her interactions with others, earning her the reputation of a kind-hearted soul. Animals held a special place in her heart, with her horse Timer and dog Odie serving as steadfast companions. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Katrina Sharp and Michael Sharp, along with numerous family and friends. Carol's presence, marked by her angelic qualities, will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.  Graveside Burial at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, March 22, 2024, Fort Smith, Arkansas.  Services under the direction of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
