Brenda "Mimmie Sue" Woodral of Fort Smith, Arkansas was born on August 12, 1955 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Fines "Junior" and Goldie (Welch) Sturgeon. She passed from this life on November 19, 2023 at the age of 68. She was the youngest of three girls, in addition to being a "late in life baby" her daddy was assured by the doctor that this was "his boy" that he waited on for so long. Although she didn't turn out to be a boy she was the apple of his eye and grew up riding motorcycles, fishing, horseback riding and many other typically labeled male activities. Brenda married her first husband, Harvey Randolph, the father of her children on June 6, 1975 in Poteau, Oklahoma at her parents home. She then met and married Freddie Woodral on April 1, 1991, she gained a whole new family to love. Brenda was a registered nurse and spent most of her career working at Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center a small community hospital in Poteau, Oklahoma. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but above all else her favorite activity was "high rolling" at the casino. She was an active member of Coaldale Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by three sons, Robert Randolph of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Freddie Woodral JR and wife Julie of Waldron, Arkansas, Doyel Woodral of Heavener, Oklahoma; two daughters, Angella Tolleson of Moore, Oklahoma, Jody Underwood and husband Robert of Bates, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Jolenia Hale and husband Jimmie of Greenwood, Arkansas, Darren Woodral and wife Heather of Waldron, Arkansas, Bryce Tolleson of Howe, Oklahoma, Brayden Tolleson and wife Sydney of Poteau, Oklahoma, Luke Randolph of Poteau, Oklahoma, Logan Randolph of Poteau, Oklahoma, Kimberly Page and husband Josh of Bates, Arkansas, Robert Underwood of Bates, Arkansas, Kaydence Underwood of Bates, Arkansas; one great grandchild Waylon Freddie of Waldron, Arkansas; one sister, Judy Branch of Poteau, Oklahoma; one aunt, Sylvia Lucas of Eufaula, Oklahoma; one special cousin Melissa Becker of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two sisters and brother in laws, Max Manlove of Poteau, Oklahoma, Gary and Lynn Gibson of Howe, Oklahoma and many other family friends and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her husbands Harvey Randolph and Freddie Woodral; her parents Fines "Junior" and Goldie (Welch) Sturgeon; one sister Delores Manlove; one nephew Jeff Branch; one niece Brittney Cox and a brother in law Stanley Branch.
